Some of my friends are curious about what it is like in South America. I am not a good enough writer to put it eloquently in a few words. So here I would like to share a pieces of music to give you a brief idea.

I first heard this song years ago but had never felt as strongly connected to it until I made my way to South America. (Calle 13 is a popular band in Latin America. calle means 'street' in Spanish. A lot of their songs portray the social situations as well as culture of Latin America. If you are interested in knowing more, definitely check them out.)

When I first arrived here, I was very overwhelmed by how incredibly generous latin people were. Before you come here, leave your individualism at home.
