Hong Kong Protest Alternative Views

Since there's no Hongkongers in nor do I think anyone would be interested in a small place like Hong Kong over here in this continent, I feel an urge to express my alternative views towards this Occupy Central, or Umbrella Revolution in Hong Kong that has been going on since September 22, 2014.

"When dictatorship becomes a fact, revolution becomes a duty." Yet, after making a mere appearance on the international media, some innovation is necessary to take the revolution to the next level. Politics aside, China has massive capital and linkages across the pillar economic sectors of Hong Kong. CY Leung is nothing more than Beijing's puppet, Li Ka-shing and his fellow tycoons are the real big players. The city of Hong Kong is waiting for new real leaders like Jack Ma. And shall we not forget about the forgotten, that 1/5 of us, 1.3 Million of Hongkongers are still living in dire poverty and cage homes under the Chinese regime. What are we actually fighting for? Power or equality?

我關心的不是達賴喇嘛的地位,而是生活在中共佔領下六百萬藏人的權利 - 達賴喇嘛
心繫我城。這時代是屬於八九十後的。唯獨這城市的核心依然被舊中環價值佔領。

Our enemy is the 'inexplicable fear' inside us towards the super power. Democracy is not the panecea of social-economic problems, just look at Venezuela and Argentina. How many of us Hongkoners are actually working something substantial on maximizing our opportunities and lowering the risk for the pursuit of a better quality of life and social and economic sustainability in the place we call home?

More scattered demostrations are taking the Hong Kong nowhere whilst all potential leaders of the town are hiding in their own comfort zone. Occupy Central, or the Umberella Revolution, like any other protests, will lose international attention in no time. The journey of revolution has just started and it will be a long way to go. Get busy, please, my fellow Hongkoners. And please, we don't need to spread more hatred.
